What is currently bringing meaning to your life?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 17, 2008:
Film. Cinematography. Watching Andrew Bujalski's "Mutual Appreciation" and loving the way it resonates with Cassavetes "Faces", then watching Bujalski's "Funny Ha-Ha" and getting frustrated because it doesn't resonate with Rohmer's "La Collectionneuse" the way it seemed initially to promise to. Seeing Tarkovsky's "Stalker" for the first time and finding amazement in its opening montage. It's film for me right now that's bringing meaning to my life.
